This Privacy Policy explains what information Live to Earn collects when you use our website and desktop application (the "Service"), how we use it, and the rights you have.

1. Who We Are

The Service is operated by LIVE TO GIFT LTD, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us"). For the personal information described in this Policy, LIVE TO GIFT LTD is the data controller under UK data protection law and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation. 2. Information We Collect

  • Account information — your name, username, email address and password (stored hashed, never in plain text). A profile picture is optional.
  • Device information — a device identifier for your PC, used to enforce the one-device-per-account limit.
  • Plan & subscription information — your plan, its start/expiry dates, and the subscription references we receive from our payment provider (such as a customer or subscription ID). Card details are never stored by us.
  • Cloud presets — event setups you choose to save to your account.
  • Support messages — if you contact support or send a bug report, we receive your message and any text, images or videos you attach.
  • Server & security logs — like almost every online service, our server automatically records basic request data such as IP address, timestamps and login events, used for security and troubleshooting.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

  • We never ask for or store your TikTok password. The app connects to your live stream using only your public @username.
  • We do not record your stream, your gameplay, or your typing. Viewer events (gifts, likes, chat) are processed locally on your PC to run your rules and are not stored on our servers.
  • The app listens only for the hotkeys you configure (for example the TTS toggle). Hotkey detection happens locally on your PC and is never recorded or transmitted.
  • We do not store your card or payment details — payments are processed entirely by our payment provider.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To create, secure and manage your account, and to send verification codes by email (signup, password reset, email change).
  • To check your plan and expiry when the app starts, and to enforce plan limits and the device limit.
  • To store and sync your cloud presets.
  • To respond to support requests and bug reports.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • To send you important service updates. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

5. Lawful Basis

Where UK/EU data protection law applies, we rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Contract — creating your account, verifying your plan, syncing presets, and providing support: all needed to deliver the Service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, abuse detection and troubleshooting, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — keeping billing records required for tax and accounting.
  • Consent — optional communications, where required. You can withdraw consent at any time.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that host our website and database, and the email provider that delivers verification codes and service emails.
  • Payment providers that process subscriptions and refunds, under their own terms and privacy notices.
  • Authorities, where required for legal, tax or security reasons.
  • A successor business, if we sell or reorganise the business, with appropriate safeguards.

7. Storage & International Transfers

Account data is stored on our web hosting provider's servers. The app itself stores your settings (event rules, key mappings) locally on your PC. Some of our providers may process data outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

8. Cookies

Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to function (such as login sessions). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Account data is kept while your account exists, and deleted on request.
  • Billing and subscription records may be kept up to 7 years where required for tax, accounting or chargeback purposes.
  • Server and security logs are generally kept up to 12 months.
  • Support messages are generally kept up to 2 years after the issue is closed.

You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing livetogifting@gmail.com from your registered email address. Deletion is permanent and includes your cloud presets.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you have the right to:

  • request access to, or a copy of, your personal information;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • request deletion, subject to legal retention requirements;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • data portability;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email livetogifting@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local data protection authority if you are in the European Economic Area.

11. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, connections to our server use HTTPS, and account access requires email verification. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

12. Children

The Service is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced by email or in the app.
